We are back with a bang, with two excellent pre-season bootcamp sessions at Crommelin Park in Donaghadee now done and dusted.
More than two full teams’ worth of players have turned out the last two Wednesdays to be put through their paces by personal trainer Mal Clarke with fast-moving sets of various exercises, all done with suitable social distancing in place.
It has been fantastic to see a number of new faces amongst the assembled group as the club looks forward to starting the season proper as soon as Ulster Hockey decree it possible.
There is as yet no start date for league matches but we hope to return to the pitch at Bangor Grammar on Wednesday 19th August. Until then, there’s always another two fitness sessions to keep any Wednesday night blues away: 7.30-8.30pm at Crommelin Park, Donaghadee.
We are always delighted to see new players for both our 1XI and 2XI teams; please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to get the required health declaration form to allow participation.
